Connect, Grow, and Promote: Your Women’s ERG Awaits!

Sixty-Two: Ames News — delivered.

Connect with a supportive community, grow your leadership skills, and promote diverse perspectives. Through the Women’s Employee Resource Group (ERG) at Ames, we’re building a stronger, more inclusive workplace together!

The Women’s ERG serves as a support network within Ames, focusing on the needs and interests of women in the construction industry. The primary goal of this group is to foster a sense of community, promote career development, and support women’s advancement in construction.

🤝Connect

Employee connections help foster a sense of belonging, leading to higher levels of engagement and job satisfaction. When coworkers feel supported and connected, they are more likely to stay with the company. For Ames, this means reduced turnover and a stronger, more cohesive team across all levels of the organization.

🌱Grow

ERGs provide a place for members to take on leadership roles outside of their day-to-day responsibilities. By leading or participating in an ERG, employees can develop valuable skills in communication and strategic planning. For Ames, this means that our people are gaining experience that will contribute to their growth within the company.

📣Promote

An inclusive company culture enhances morale and engagement. At Ames, ERGs help promote the company’s values of respect, teamwork, and collaboration. When coworkers from all backgrounds feel heard and supported, overall morale and productivity rises. This ultimately benefits the company’s bottom line.

The Ames Women’s ERG is open to all Ames employees. If you are interested in joining, please obtain approval from your manager and sign up at the Women’s ERG page:
