ESOP: Building Our Future Together

Sixty-Two: Ames News — delivered.

We celebrated our first-ever Employee Ownership Month at Ames in October, marking a significant milestone in our journey as a new employee-owned organization. This inaugural event highlighted the power of employee ownership in fostering a culture of shared success and long-term financial security.

As part of Employee Ownership Month, we asked Ames coworkers to share their thoughts about employee ownership and being Fueled by Family.

What does employee ownership mean to you as we start our journey together?

“Employee ownership means we all have a real stake in the game. It’s not just about coming to work each day — it’s about building something together and sharing in the wins."—Paul, Presconstruction Manager
“It means being able to take even more pride in the time and energy we put into the work we do on the projects we are on, knowing that the success of the company is directly in our hands.”—Chloe, Project Engineer

What does “Fueled by Family” mean to you?

“We came from a family-owned company and we're still fueled by that. We don't want to lose sight of how we got here.”—David, Engineer
“Ames becomes an extension of our family, and we owe it to our coworkers to look out for them while we are at work.”—Evan, ORW Manager
