LaSalle “Buzz” Ransom

In his 27 years at Ames, LaSalle “Buzz” Ransom has collected a lot of stories to tell, and he’s enjoyed watching bridges being built. But it's the relationships that stand out the most. With his family in California, Buzz's Ames coworkers in Minnesota became his second family.

“My best experience was just all the people I got to meet. Everybody was so nice; no one gave me a bad vibe. I’m going to miss everyone. I appreciate everybody at Ames and what Ames did for me. Just being a part of Ames made me a better person.”

Buzz’s retirement plans are to take it easy, buy a truck, and clean out his attic, basement, and garage.
