Eli Walker

Joined Ames: 2007
Position: Labor Foreman
Current Job Site: Mountain Pass Mine, California

Like many Ames team members, Eli Walker pursued a career in construction because of his family’s encouragement. A cousin helped him get his first job in the industry, and a few years later, his dad, Superintendent Richard Walker, brought him into Ames, where he’s been ever since. (Richard retired in 2021 after 32 years with Ames.)

“I like how every job is different,” Eli says. “I’m always on my toes learning new things.”

Outside of work, Eli enjoys fishing and going to concerts, especially heavy metal (see some of his answers to the Rapid Fire questions!).
