Joined Ames: March 2012
Position: Construction Manager, Rocky Mountain Region
For Jason French, working at Ames feels like family—sometimes literally.
Jason’s dad, Ed French, is a superintendent on the 69Express project in Kansas, while Jason’s son, Jesse French, works in carpentry/structures in the Rocky Mountain Region.
Jason was promoted this year from project superintendent to construction manager. He’s responsible for ensuring crew safety, quality, and production.
“I enjoy the day-to-day interaction with the team while we work together to accomplish a goal,” he says.
Jason and his wife, Kelly, have been married for nine years, and they have a six-year-old daughter. They enjoy riding UTVs, going to the lake, boating, jet skiing—anything with a motor, Jason says.
