Ames’ Southwest team was awarded the Happy Valley Road Improvements Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) project. This project will bring roadway improvements to Happy Valley Road from 163rd Avenue to El Granada Boulevard in Surprise, Arizona.
The project will build the roadway to its ultimate six-lane arterial configuration with raised medians and bike lanes, creating a unified appearance, improving safety, and relieving traffic congestion. Work includes roadway construction, drainage improvements, utility relocations, traffic signals, and landscaping.
After Phase 2 interviews, the Ames team was selected over four other competitors. Congrats to the Southwest team! 🎉
