November Is Men’s Mental Health Month

Sixty-Two: Ames News — delivered.

Each year, 6 million men in the U.S. face depression, often undiagnosed. Societal pressures hinder men from seeking help, leading to higher rates of substance use and decreased overall well-being.

This “Movember,” Lyra Health—Ames’ mental health benefit—is offering resources to highlight the importance of spotting signs of depression in men, opening up and looking inward, and addressing the stressors of becoming a father.
