Ames has published its first-ever Environmental Management System Document and a revised edition of the Corporate Quality Manual.
Both documents may be downloaded from the document library on the Ames intranet.
Environmental Management System
The Environmental Management System (EMS) document is the written communication that presents our Environmental Policy, procedures, and requirements. The procedures guide the development of project-specific Environmental Management Plans as dictated by project requirements.
By establishing an EMS, Ames achieves environmental compliance, risk reduction, improved environmental performance, and stakeholder trust and reputation. We also bolster workforce awareness of environmental issues and responsibilities and expand our existing good practices to bring continuity across all Ames regions.
Corporate Quality Manual
The Corporate Quality Manual and the procedures defined within describe how to execute Ames’ quality mission, strategy, and policies on all projects. The intended outcome is to have one Ames Quality Management System (QMS) across all regions and market segments.
A QMS is a formalized system that documents processes, procedures, and responsibilities for achieving quality policies and objectives. The Corporate Quality Manual is our foundational document that servers as our framework for our quality processes and requirements that establish Ames’ QMS.
