Now available: Updated EMS and Corporate Quality Manuals

Sixty-Two: Ames News — delivered.

By Sarah Windsor, Quality Director

As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, I am pleased to announce that Ames’ Environmental Management System Manual and Corporate Quality Manual have been updated with revisions.

These documents reflect our ongoing dedication to improving our practices and ensuring that we meet the highest standards in environmental stewardship and quality management.

On an annual basis, both manuals are reviewed and revised, as needed, to reflect prioritized objectives, ensure alignment with our strategic plan, and provide greater clarity on our processes to drive operational excellence across Ames.

The manuals are available on the Ames intranet.

What action do I need to take?

If you reference either manual for projects or bid proposals, please update your file to the latest revision.

💡
Best practice: Save the URL rather than saving a copy of the file. The link will always direct you to the most current version. This will prevent you from referencing outdated documents.

How can I learn more?

During the month of November, we will share more about our Corporate Quality Manual and why a Quality Management System is being developed at Ames. We will offer learning opportunities and exchange best practices and lessons learned, with the overall goal of improving quality across Ames.

November is World Quality Month, so it’s the perfect time for us to reflect on the importance of quality in everything we do. This year’s theme is “Quality: From compliance to performance.” The theme encourages organizations to elevate quality from merely complying with standards to striving for excellence.

Your ideas and innovative solutions position us as a leader in the industry, enabling us to attract and retain top talent. In the coming weeks, we will share more details about activities and opportunities for you to get involved and share ideas.

Thank you for your ongoing commitment to quality and environmental stewardship.
