Jim Duffy
Joined Ames: 2007
Position: Carpenter Foreman, Midwest

Jim Duffy spent his 17-year career with Ames as a carpenter foreman in the Midwest region. Two of his favorite projects were the first MnPASS contract Ames performed from Little Canada to St. Paul and the 35W Lake Street project—mostly because they both went so smoothly for his team.

“Ames is a great company. I worked alongside some great people throughout my career and will stay in touch with many of them. Work has been important to me, but when you keep God, spouse, and family as a priority, work and life generally become much easier.”

Jim retired from Ames on Labor Day and says he is looking forward to adding another chapter to the story of his life.
