Nick Brochman
Joined Ames: 2002
Position: Truck Driver, Midwest

Nick Brochman joined Ames in 2002 and quickly became what Ron Ames called his “utility driver” of flatbeds, lowboys, and various trucks. By the time he retired, Nick was a full-time lowboy driver and had traveled all over the United States.

One of the busiest times in his career was working on the RAAD jobs in North Dakota, where two lowboys worked 16-hour days.

“I really loved working for Ames. When you’re there a long time, you get to know a lot of people, and I miss all the guys who were out on those jobs with me.”

In his retirement, Nick has moved to and is fixing up the family farm after his dad moved to town. He’s also carving out time to take a few vacations.
