Richard Zufelt came to Ames a decade ago when the union asked if he would go to work pushing scrapers in Delta, Utah. “That’s where I met Jim Jarrett and Doug Hatfield, and the rest is history,” Richard says.
His favorite projects have been working on the spillway construction in Delta and at the Greensboro-Randolph Megasite in North Carolina.
“It’s been a privilege to work with so many good people.”
Richard's retirement plans include building a log home, remodeling an old homestead, and doing leather work on the side.
