Solar Does Good in South Dakota

Sixty-Two: Ames News — delivered.

Ames was a proud participant in the recent Solar Does Good community event in Pennington County, South Dakota, where we are building the 900-acre Wild Springs Solar Project. Wild Springs is the largest solar energy project in South Dakota to-date.

Hosted by National Grid Renewables, the event helped bring awareness to the many economic benefits that solar projects have on local communities.

“Wild Springs represents a special opportunity to expand our footprint close to home, while helping develop an exciting and evolving renewable energy market in South Dakota,” says Ames Project Executive Patrick Fairl. “The project will employ over 250 crew members during the course of construction, many of whom will come right from the local communities.”
