Announcing Ames Federal Contracting Group, LLC

Sixty-Two: Ames News — delivered.

Ames Construction is pleased to announce the creation of a separate and standalone business entity within the Ames family of companies, Ames Federal Contracting Group, LLC (Ames Federal).

Brandon Evans has been promoted to the role of Senior Vice President and will lead the new group. Brandon joined Ames as a Project Engineer in 1991 and served most recently as Vice President of Engineering in the Western Region.

Ames Federal will focus on pursuing the extensive opportunities available in the federal market. By establishing Ames Federal, we will better align our current execution strategies with those opportunities and position ourselves to grow our market share with the Federal Government.

Primary federal market sectors include water resources, military installations, and shoreline preservation. Clients may include the Department of Defense (DoD), (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, Space Force), Bureau of Reclamation (BOR), U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), and General Services Administration (GSA).

Our plan is centered around market opportunity and what we do best, as aligned with Ames culture, core values, and people. Ames Federal will allow us to limit risk while diversifying our business through new capabilities and operational efficiencies.

As always, our success in this market will rely on training and developing our greatest asset: our people. If you or someone you know is interested in a career with Ames Federal, please reach out to your regional HR manager.

Ames recently completed the Webster Dam Spillway project for the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation.
