Team Strength

Sixty-Two: Ames News — delivered.

by Craig Sandeen, President, Renewable Energy

In construction, our greatest assets are our people and the teams they form. This is true in all stages of our business, from the home office and business development to preconstruction, operations, and the close out/warranty phase of our projects.

We depend on our fellow team members to support our common goal of excellence in all activities. At Ames, the longevity of our team members, working together on project after project, gives us a great advantage. This continuity allows us to understand one another’s strengths and weakness. With this understanding, the ramp-up time in any phase of a project is greatly reduced.

As Ames continues to enter new market sectors and grow geographically, we will add new team members to the company. These new team members will need extra attention as we onboard and embrace their new talents and ideas while instilling the core philosophy of Ames that so many of you already hold.

So please, when you see a new face on the team, get to know the person and support them so that they too become a long-time Ames employee. The time spent will be well worth the effort as we all win together.
