The Fargo-Moorhead Metropolitan Area Flood Risk Management Project was selected as the recipient of the 2023 Recognition of Special Achievement by the National Academy of Construction. The Diversion Channel Inlet (pictured above) is one of three flood control structures Ames is building on the project's southern embankment.
